Atiq Khan – Project Manager – Builder – Developer

Atiq started his career as an accountant in Sorbara Group (builder/developer) in 1997 where he gained valuable experience in costing and budgeting related to the home building process.

In 2001, Atique joined Olympia & York (commercial property managers) as a team lead where he was responsible for investor management and reporting.

A unique opportunity came about in 2004, with Morguard REIT, pertaining to the revitalization of Bramalea City Centre and Holt Renfrew Centre. This role required Mr. Khan to negotiate with big box tenants, manage a construction budget, report on variances and assignment of trade contracts.

In 2007, Atiq was approached by The Downing Street Group, who were looking for a Director of Finance to oversee their portfolio of residential development in different areas of GTA worth over $500million. This provided Mr. KHAN with an opportunity to learn about the home building process from the ground up.

2009 was a game changer year in Mr. Khan’s life where he parted with his accounting career and launched a development company to do home renovations and custom home development. Over the past decade him and his team has completed over 200 home renovation/new build projects to date ranging from 200K to 2M dollars. And now he has joined forces to run another company, CK Capital Development Inc. to help others create wealth.

When he is not working on his development projects, he spends time with his family, likes to cook and is a world class traveller.

Aasia Chaudhry – Investor Relations – Office & Sales Manager

Aasia is a very relatable, small-town, high-energy, positive, fun and down to earth professional who was brought up in an immigrant family, born and raised in the beautiful Niagara region. Growing up in a very hard-working household showed her the value of persistence and commitment. In many ways, it’s the foundation of life for many new Canadian families. While growing up in a family run business and being involved in all aspects, Aasia garnered an affection for business and service to others by partaking in her families’ multi businesses. From working in the greenhouses, taking care of the plants, managing the storefront, distributing plants to retailers and wholesalers, invoicing, managing cash, inventory counts, to especially managing all customer and client relations, Aasia had a fully involved role in the operations. She had chosen finance and worked toward a Bachelor of Commerce in Business from Ryerson but had been always curious about real estate from an early age.

This soccer mom’s favorite pastime is walking, hiking, reading, working on projects, spending time with family, philanthropic involvement in the community and travelling. Aasia built a professional background for almost 20 years in the corporate world with extensive finance and project-based work, but real estate was always in the back of her mind. She became involved in real estate investing and it was then when the decision was made to steer her career toward the real estate world. After having had experience of over a decade of real estate sales she joined forces with Atiq Khan as a Liaison for Investor Relations now for the last three years where she brings her business acumen, financial accounting and project-based costing background along with her customer relations and sales experience to the table. She has now partnered with Atiq Khan to help everyone and their families generate future continuous wealth.
